In the 28th season, the episodes focus on exploring the most prominent types of sharks, tracking their journeys across seas and oceans, studying and analyzing their behaviors, and revealing the hidden and undiscovered aspects of their lives.


In Season 29, Ashlan and Philippe Cousteau travel to the Marshall Islands to unravel the secrets of the gray reef sharks that prevailed in the Bikini Atoll nuclear test zone over all odds, while Dr. Hazen makes his Shark Week debut, traveling to Brazil to stop shark attacks.


In the 30th season, more information is revealed about great white sharks, hammerhead sharks, and other species, with the episodes focusing on specific locations such as Goss Island and the cities of Los Angeles and New York.


Forrest Galante, a wildlife biologist and animal tracker, sets out to find the Pondicherry shark, thought to be extinct since the 1970s, in the Indian Ocean.


In its 33rd season, the series continues to offer new and diverse episodes about shark species around the world, exploring their many secrets, studying different types, seeking ways to protect and preserve rare species, and investigating their repeated attacks on humans.



In the 36th season, researchers go out on a quest to find South Africa's greatest great white sharks, which simultaneously involves a number of strange and unusual occurrences.


In the thirty-seventh season, there are new and varied episodes about the world's shark species and their attacks, exploring their secret lives and behaviors.
