When Marakuda's son is unable to hunt and develop into a formidable warrior, his father is extremely unhappy. In order to redeem himself, the son ventures into the forest and discovers a sacred bird that endows him with the ability to comprehend the language of birds and animals. When he returns with the bird, he discovers a tradition that states that the bird should be sacrificed.
