Belly and Jeremiah's relationship continues for four years after she joins his college, and his irresponsibility continues, while Conrad struggles to forget Belly. Belly faces the shock of Jeremiah's infidelity.

Belly tries to get over Jeremiah's infidelity, and he justifies his position. Meanwhile, Steven gets into a car accident after an argument with Taylor. Belly remembers staying with Conrad at the summer house, so she forgives Jeremiah and accepts his proposal of marriage.

Steven recovers from the accident and refuses to deal with Taylor, while Jeremiah and Belly postpone announcing their engagement until everyone is at Susannah's memorial service, which Conrad decides to attend. Everyone is shocked by the marriage decision and is met with rejection.

Belly and Jeremiah try to deal with everyone's disapproval of their marriage. Belly decides to stay at the summer house until the wedding date and is surprised by the presence of Conrad, who decides to help them with the wedding to make Belly happy.

Jeremiah is stuck at work and unable to come help Belly with the arrangements, forcing Conrad to help her and confront his feelings for her. Meanwhile, Steven and Denise's relationship turns into a friendship.

Belly is confused by the change in the wedding style after Adam decides to coordinate it. Conrad convinces Laurel to agree to the wedding to help Belly, who is happy to attend the bridal shower, while an accident for Conrad awakens Belly's feelings for him.

Belly and Jeremiah celebrate with their friends after Belly learns that Conrad was behind her mother's approval of the wedding and the latter hears news of Jeremiah's cheating on Billie. Conrad decides to confess to Belly that he still loves her, but she rejects him.

Belly tells Jeremiah about Conrad's confession to her, and the two brothers fight over it and Conrad leaves the party. Jeremiah confronts Belly about knowing her feelings for Conrad and decides to leave her and cancel the wedding.

Belly travels to Paris to escape the aftermath of her wedding night and faces new adventures. Jeremiah suffers from Belly leaving him, while Conrad returns to help Jeremiah, but the latter refuses to reconcile with him, so Conrad decides to return to California.

Belly relocates to France and attempts to move on from the Fisher brothers by becoming engaged to Benito. Jeremiah tries to get over his relationship with Belly and reconcile with Conrad, who does his best to get close to him. Conrad cannot forget Belly.

Conrad goes to Paris to surprise Belly and celebrate her birthday, which brings them closer together again and they confess their love for each other after much tension. Jeremiah succeeds in his work and his relationship with Denise develops.
