Dagwood needs some money, so he impersonates Mr. Dithers, the company's owner, to complete a business deal. He becomes a guinea pig who is injected with a new truth serum, and thanks to his ability to tell the truth, he succeeds in winning a new contract for Dithers and gets a raise.
