Jessica Chastain who is nominated for BestActress at the Academy Awards for her outstanding performance in "ZeroDark Thirty" wore a red gown by one of her favourite designer AlexandarMcQueen. Chastain's red dark hair seemed a perfect match with her red dress andshe topped off with a very simple look with Charlotte Olympia high heels shoesand a Harry Winston's necklace. "The Hunger Games" star JenniferLawrence was in control with a navy dark strapless gown where some speculated itwas ripped as while ascending the stairs to receive the Best Actress Award forher role in "Silver Linings Playbook" of bit of skin showed throughthe skirt of her gown. The Christian Dior gown was frosted by jewelry from Chopard. Another blue gown with a wavy tail, but alight Zack Bossin, was worn by Amanda Seyfried who shined in " Les Misérables" andshined more at the Awards with her golden hair and simple shiny necklace. Nicole Kidman as usual shows up in a mesmerizinglook where she wore a chiffon breaded dark blue by Vivienne Westwood and NaomiWatts chose to show up with a silver strapless gown signed by Marchesa. Indian actress Frida chose a daring look onthe red carpet with a Roland Mouret pink gown with a black belt and Frenchactress Marion Cotillard was confident in a Dior white and navy gown.

Phoenixpraised Day-Lewis' outstanding performance in "Lincoln" while receivingthe London Critics Circle Film Award for Actor of the Year.
