A Tunisian director, born in 1948. He graduated from the Institute of Cinema in Paris. He established his cinematic career by directing short documentaries, including My Village, A Village Among Others. He won the Golden Tanit in the Short Film Competition of Carthage Film Festival in 1972. His movie Shadow of the Earth (1982) won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury - Special Mention at the International Critics' Week at Cannes Film Festival. |
