He joined the Arab Music Institute to study singing and playing the lute for two years, and then sang in a number of radio channels and night clubs. He then went on to appear in musical numbers in films, including 4 Girls and an Officer, Children of the Poor and The Black Knight. He died in 1988.

He died in 1988.
