Abdalla Mahmoud was an Egyptian actor, born in 1959 in Cairo. After his graduation from the Co-operation Agricultural Institute, Abdalla joined the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts in Cairo, whereupon he began his professional career through the television series The Postman. He then appeared in a lot of television series like The Bird of Fire, and The Innocent. Mahmoud was introduced to the cinema by director Youssef Chahine in the film Alexandria, Why?, after which he appeared in many notable films, including The Bus Driver, and Citizen Masrey.
