A Lebanese artist, born in the town of Bakhoun, Dinniyeh, in northern Lebanon. He worked for a while in the State of Kuwait, before returning to his native Lebanon, where he achieved widespread fame. He released several albums, including You Are My Life. He rose to stardom in the eighties, when he presented a large number of songs. Throughout his career, he collaborated with many prominent lyricists and composers in the Arab world, most notably: Hassan Abu El Saud, and Salah El Sharnouby. He also had a close friendship with composer Faisal El Masry and together they formed a successful artistic duo. He decided to stay away from the limelight for more than 5 years for personal reasons, then returned, releasing an album titled I Cherish You, which included 8 songs in the Egyptian, Lebanese, and Gulf dialects.
