She married Major General Mohsen El Saeed, brother of Dr. Mustafa El Saeed, the former Minister of Economy, and had a child with him. She is also the sister of the announcer Bossi Shalaby, the wife of the artist Mahmoud Abdel Aziz. She passed away on June 14, 2000.
