An Egyptian actress, born August 24, 1925 to a large family. She lived a miserable childhood after her parents divorced. She married early, worked in art, which was the reason for her divorce, and traveled to America and got married to actor Saad Ardash. Her name is Hoda Ismail El-Shimy. She studied at the Drama Institute in the United States, then returned to Egypt to work in the National Theatre. She has several cinematic roles, including: The Hearts of the People and Sham Al-Naseem. She worked in the Tahrir Theater with Youssef Wehbe, from her plays Caligula and Soft Hands. Her role in Youssef Chahine's film Between Your Hands with Magda remains an unforgettable role.
