Alaa Waleyy al-Deen is an Egyptian actor who finished studying Commerce in 1985.His father Sameer Waleey al-Deen was an assistant director to Nour al-Demerdaash for four years as well as an actor.
In his early career, Alaa played small TV roles in “Zahra wal mag-houl i.e. Zahra and the unknown”, “Dokhaan bela naar i.e. Smoke without fire”, “Aly al-Zeibak”, “Behaar al-ghorba i.e. Expatriation seas” and “Abdullaah al-mofattesh i.e. Inspector Abdullaah”.
Alaa is among the generation of actors that played leading roles relatively late. His film “Abboud ala al-hodoud i.e. Abboud on the borders” succeeded accidentally then “Al-Naazer i.e. The principal” has achieved an overwhelming success. Died 2003, at the age of 39, before completing the film “Araby Ta’reefa”.
