Dalia Saad |
A Syrian actor, born in the city of Aleppo in 1934 to a well-off family. He studied in the Syriac Catholic schools in Qamishli, then continued his university studies in Europe, after which he turned to art. He was fluent in French and Syriac. After finishing his studies, he formed many theater troupes, but his breakthrough came when he founded the Theater Supporters Association troupe. He wrote and acted in, directed, and printed many plays at the Youth Press in Qamishli, such as the play The Bloodshedder. He was a multi-talented artist, working in writing, acting, directing, and also dancing. He won several awards. He passed away in 1986.
