A Tunisian actress, born on January 10, 1918 in Joumine. She moved to Sfax and worked as a dancer at the beginning of her career before being mentored by singer Fethia Khairi, who introduced her to the artist Mohamed Triki in the Tunisian capital, who loved her, married her, and taught her the principles of music and singing. She recorded her first album in Paris. Hassiba Rushdie participated in 1935 in her first film entitled Promotion, then Confused Hearts, then appeared in The Rebel (1968), and Scream (1972). She died on September 26, 2012.
