He is a Moroccan theater, film actor and director. He was born in 1938. His father was a scholar and wrote many books. He moved to Casablanca and joined one of its Islamic secondary schools. At the age of sixteen he traveled to France to study. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts and lived in France to study theater. He joined the National Theater Company, a group known as "Al Mamoura". He founded the so-called street theater. From his plays The Seven Hours. He worked as director of the Municipal Theater in Casablanca and served as Minister of Tourism. He has appeared in many European and international films and has interests in art. He worked in the movie The Message with director Mustafa El Akkad.
