Toqa Hesham |
An Iraqi actress who was the second girl to graduate from the Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Dramatic Art in 1964, and the first student to graduate from the Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree, besides being the first to obtain a master's degree in theatrical directing. She participated in 59 theater and television productions during her 40-year career. Among her most important works is the series The City of Rules, which focused on teaching the Arabic language in a dramatic and funny, simplified manner. She wrote several radio series, including A Long Night Waiting for Dawn, and The Slap. |
