He is an actor, director and journalist. He obtained his baccalaureate degree and then decided to complete his studies in France, where he studied acting and theatrical directing. He returned to his country in 1929 and worked to establish the first acting institute in Egypt in 1930. He was the founder of the National Theater in 1935 and was the first to direct an operetta for folk arts. He traveled to work in Kuwait for many years, where he also established the first acting institute. He published several books on the art of acting, and then won an Award for Excellence in theatrical directing.
