A Syrian writer, he was born on the Syrian coast in 1948. He grew up in a middle-income rural family. He has worked in the Syrian press since 1974. He later moved to writing dramas for television, writing several important long series, including: A Navy Kind of Love, The Travelers Nigh and Migrating Souls. He also transformed several international novels into works of art, including: The House of The Spirits by Isabel Allende, and Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. |
