He is an Egyptian director, born in 1929. He started by working as an assistant director with a number of directors, including Zuhair Bakir. He traveled to Syria and Lebanon in the early seventies and worked as a director in the armed forces there. He returned in 1974 and remained in Egypt until he died on November 8, 1978. He is known for The Master's Empire (1974), The Pretty Lying Girl (1977) and Circle of Doubt (1980). |
