His notable film credits include Tito, Alexandria Private, and This Is Chaos. Among his television credits are Merchant of Happiness, Sultan of Love, and Al-Rayyan. His final film appearance was in The Island 2 (2014). He passed away on September 25, 2014, after his health deteriorated after he underwent an open-heart surgery at the Magdi Yacoub Heart Center in Aswan.
