He is an Egyptian director and writer, born in 1899. He traveled to France in 1930 and remained there until 1937. He began his artistic life as a stage director and as a film producer. He's best known for A Heart's Calling (1943), Inmate Number 17 (1949), and My Children (1951). He died of a sudden heart attack in 1951. |
