Egyptian actor Zomoroda was born in Cairo in 1926. She appeared in theatrical performances throughout her childhood, when she was discovered by the late Youssef Wahbi who offered her a role in the film “El Avocato Mediha” (Mediha, The Lawyer; 1950). Zomoroda went on to star in numerous films throughout the fifties including: “Gezira El Ahlam” (Island of Dreams), “Adini Aqlek” (Give Me Your Mind), “Fa’il Kheir” (The Benefactor), “Asafir El Gena” (Birds of Paradise).
