Maryam Nouhy |
Algerian director who studied painting before he moved on to filmmaking which he studied at the Paris Conservatory. He also obtained a BA and master's degree in communication from Washington, D.C. He served as AD on several films produced by the Algerian Center for Arts and Cinema in addition to writing and directing several short films. In 1993, he founded GCA, where he worked as an executive producer, manager, and screenwriter. He produced three films, Franca Franca, My Father, and Women's Expectations, the latter of which he also directed.
