He held the position of Director General of Kirkuk TV in the sixties. He also directed several series, most notably Her Eyes and the Stars, and The Man Who Love. He chaired the Union of Iraqi Cinema Professionals and worked as a secretary in the Iraqi Artists Syndicate after the fall of the previous regime. He died at the age of 77.
