A Syrian writer, director and producer, born in Damascus in 1938. He studied cinema in Czechoslovakia until he obtained a master's degree in directing from the University of Cinema in Prague. After returning to Syria he worked at the General Film Organization. Over the course of his life, his cinematic achievements varied between short, long and documentaries, including his films: The Extras, The Cheetah, The Progressive Sayyid, The Remnants of Pictures. |
