An Egyptian poet, dramatic and Islamic writer, who was known as "The Maestro of Drama". One of his most important radio drama works is the Ramadan program “The Best Stories”, which has been broadcast for 17 years during the month of Ramadan. He was born on July 26, 1917 in the city of Tahta, Sohag Governorate. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art. He presented many religious programs and series, including: The Nation of the Qur’an and Men Around the Messenger. He also contributed to the establishment of "Sawt Al Arab" radio station, which was launched from Cairo in May 1953. He is best known for co-writing Moustapha Akkad's The Message (1976). He died on December 7, 1989.
