Toqa Hesham |
An Egyptian actress, born as Rachel into a Jewish family in Mansoura. She received her education in French schools and then in the Faculty of Arts. She appeared for the first time on the Private Radio Station owned by the writer Farid Rifai, then she joined the National band. After she was discovered by Bahiga Hafiz, she starred in many films directed by Mohammad Karim, including A Bullet to the Heart (1944) and The Madness of Love ( 1954). She decided to immigrate to the United States of America after the revolution in 1952, where she became a businesswoman.
