He was an Egyptian actor famous for playing the roles of the aristocratic man. He was born on August 23, 1915. He graduated from the Faculty of Commerce and worked in a bank. He was discovered by Fatin Abdel Wahab when he was about 48 years old. He made his debut in the 1963 film, The Little Charmer. He is best known for Miramar (1969), My Wife's Dignity (1967) and Thirty Days in Jail (1966). He also appeared in a few TV series, including Mizo's Story (1977) and Eyes (1980). Mahmoud Rashad died on February 27, 1989, after he presented his last film The Man Loves Twice (1987).
