An Irish writer, who was born on October 28, 1921 in County Cork, Republic of Ireland. He is best known for writing the screenplay for the film Lion of the Desert, produced by Falcon Media Production and directed by Mustafa Al-Akkad. He wrote the movie The Message (1976) and the Lion of the Desert (1981). The movies had a great impact on the knowledge of Islam all over the world when they were shown. Lion of the Desert personified the jihad of the Libyan people against the Italian invasion in 1981. He died on October 23, 1978, Rome, Italy.
