She is an Egyptian actress, who graduated from the Department of Comparative English Literature at the American University and obtained a master's degree in the same specialty. At the beginning of her career, she starred in an Iraqi adaptation of Hamlet with Iraqi director Jawad Al-Asadi at Al-Hanager Theater. She also performed comedic plays with The Movement troupe. She has played supporting roles in films, such as: Girls' Secrets (2001), and Tarek's Situation (2006).
