Dalia Saad |
An Egyptian writer, born on December 1, 1915. He obtained a diploma at Dar Al Uloom in 1940, and worked at the beginning of his career as a teacher, then resigned and turned to journalism, until he reached the position of editor-in-chief of Al Mesaha magazine, Al-Uruba magazine, and the Art of Cinema in 1948. He wrote scripts for the cinema, starting with the movie Lottery Tickets Salesperson (1947), starring Ragaa Abdo, with whom he collaborated as a lyricist. He also wrote the movies Life Is Beautiful, and I Am the Past, among others. Among the songs he wrote are Asmahan's I Once Entered a Garden, Farid El Atrash's Make a Date with Me and Keep It, and Souad Mohamed's So You Want to Forget Me. He passed away on January 7, 1984. |
