An Egyptian actor, born in Cairo in 1899, He did not complete his secondary studies due to the death of his father. He worked in the Sudan, got married there, and returned to Egypt in 1924, where he met Youssef Wahbi, and then worked in George Abyad's troupe, then returned to Ramses Troupe in 1935 and remained a member of it throughout his life, and also worked in the National Theater. Youssef Wahbi introduced him to the cinema through the movie Chant of Hope. Moreover, he worked in many plays with Fatima Roshdi's troupe, playing comedic and tragic roles. His most notable plays include The Safe Road and One Thousand and One Nights. He died in 1964.
