An Egyptian actor, born on June 16, 1910. He began his acting career with Ali El Kassar's troupe, then turned to the cinema, where he made his debut in The Station's Guard (1936), and concluded his career with the movie Love Beach (1961). His major breakthrough was in the 1944 movie Nour Al-Din and the Three Sailors. Despite his numerous movies, he remained until his death as a fish seller in his own fish shop in the Strand Building in Bab El Louk on Nubar Pasha Street. He died on November 18, 1975. |
