Ali Mansour is of Tunisian origin. He was educated in Egypt, and his hobby of art dominated him. He acted, wrote, and directed in his homeland, Tunisia. As for Egypt, he worked in one movie, Promise (1954), in which he played the role of Aviation Officer Adel, at a time when the Egyptian Armed Forces was being promoted, especially the Air Force, after the 1952 Revolution.
