He was born in 1910 and is one of the pioneers of the short story in Egypt, as he wrote more than three hundred short stories. He published 11 short stories collections, including From the Past, The Laughter of Satan, and One Evening. He has a book on criticism titled Egypt between the Occupation and the Revolution, and another book on cinema. He also translated a play. Some of his works were also translated into English and French. He died in 1953. |
