A singer, known as the Sultana of Singing, born in Alexandria, and educated in Catholic schools. Her name is Zakia Hassan. She started her career in Cairo as a dancer and singer in Azbakia cafés. Then she worked in Aziz Eid's troupe. She worked on the operettas: The Curtain, and Thaïs. Among her famous songs Draw the Curtain, a Dark Man Who Owned My Heart, and A Pretty Dove.
