Algerian actor, born on March 30, 1928. He debuted his career on theatre in 1940 by chance when Mustafa Kateb, the manager of the Algerian Theater at the time asked him to take the place of an absent actor. In 1956, he was attacked by French extremists, which forced him to leave the theater for two years. He is known for Inspector Tahir's Holiday (1973). He died on October 9, 2004.
