An Egyptian actor of Greek descent. He participated in many films, including The Mayor's Daughter, The Cup of Torment, and One Million Pounds. His roles varied, but his most famous ones were those of the waiter or the foreigner. He was most active during the 1950s. He also participated in many Greek films, including The Spinster, Sunday's Awakening. He was a student of the great actor, Naguib el-Rihani, and worked with the most notable Egyptian directors, including Youssef Chahine and Hassan Al-Imam.
