Amr El Torgoman was an Egyptian actor, born December 15, 1931. After he received a degree in commerce, he worked for some time in tourism. His good looks and graceful figure helped him break into the field of cinema, acting in several films including Don't Put off the Sun in 1961, alongside Shoukry Sarhan and Faten Hamama, and directed by Salah Abu Seif, then The Miracle (1962), in which he starred alongside Shadia and Faten Hamama, and Woman on the Margin (1963), with Hind Rostom and director Hassan El Imam, who also gave him a role opposite Laila Fawzy in his 1964 version of Arabian Nights, One Thousand and One Nights. This was his last film role. El Torgoman then immigrated to Paris and continued his halted career in commerce there.
