Dalia Saad |
An Egyptian writer and poet, born in Bandar Menouf on October 30, 1932. His father was a simple farmer with six children. After finishing high school in Menoufia, he moved to Cairo and enrolled in Cairo University's Faculty of Arts, Department of Sociology, from which he graduated in 1956. He sent his poetry and writings to Egyptian newspapers and magazines, especially Al Gomhuria newspaper. He worked at the Ministry of Agriculture for a year and moved to work at Al Gomhuria newspaper's Journalistic Investigation Department in 1957. He got married in 1958 and had two children. He wrote dozens of songs, in addition to a poetry collection entitled Some Words. He departed this life at the age of 38, on January 3, 1971.
