A Turkish actor, born on May 16, 1925 in Istanbul. He graduated from Kabataş High School in Istanbul (1945). He did not continue his higher education in Istanbul Colleges of Literature and Medicine, and studied at the Faculty of Arts, Department of Philosophy. He worked as a reporter and writer for magazines, and started journalism in 1953. He joined cinema by writing a script in 1959. He began directing in 1963 with the movie Three Angry Teen. He tried to focus on the problems of young people in a variety of films. He died on December 25, 1990 in Istanbul, Turkey.
