Algerian writer, born on November 20, 1945 in Boudouaou, Boumerdès, Algeria. He studied at the Higher School of Commerce and became a member of the National Council of Culture in 1992. He published his first books in the seventies. He is known for writing several books in French, such as "Le printemps n'en sera que plus beau" (1978). The movie The Honor of the Tribe (1993) was adapted from his novel. He died in Paris on February 12, 1995.
