He is a Lebanese singer and was born on April 2, 1962. His real name is Tony Fahmy El Khouly. Director Simon Asmar chose the name Rabea El- Kholi as his artistic name after he graduated from the famous competition program Art Studio in 1980. He became famous during the eighties for re-singing Umm Kulthum and Wadih El Safi's songs. In 2000, he decided to quit singing, and entered a monastery in Lebanon to become a monk, then a priest in 2008. He participated in several television series, such as: The Teacher and the Professor (1980), and Ibrahim Effendi (1989).
