Toqa Hesham |
An Egyptian director, cinematographer, writer and art director, born on September 1, 1907. He excelled in set design which he started in the movie Layla the Desert Girl (1937), followed by Final Resolution (1937). He was distinguished by his designs that simulate delicate details, especially those related to historical and Islamic topics, as well as the details of local neighborhoods. In the field of directing, The Lady's Puppet is one of his most famous movies. He died on November 5, 1989.
