An Egyptian singer and actress, born in Faraskour, Dakahlia Governorate in 1913. She was discovered by the poet Hussein Helmy Al-Manasterly. She appeared in the movie Tears of Love (1935), after which her works continued, most notably Good Luck and Everyone Sings.
