A Syrian composer, born in As Souweqah neighborhood in Damascus, Syria. He apprenticed with the Syrian musician Sobhy Saeed, who became the head of the music orchestra on the Syrian Radio. He's known for the songs "Amjad Ya Arab Amjad" and "Ya Umm Al Abaya". His credits include Meeting in Palmyra (1965) and The Black Knight (1954). |
