Mohamed Fathy Ghanem, better known as Fathy Ghanem, was an Egyptian journalist and novelist. He was born in Cairo in 1924, and graduated from the faculty of law in the University of Cairo in 1944. Following his graduation, he worked as a journalist in several publications, becoming editor-in-chief in some of them, including Al Gomhuria and Rose al Yusuf. Many of Ghanem's novels were adapted into films, including The Mountain, and Those Days. He died in 1999. |
