An Egyptian writer and director born on 13 October 1931. He started his career as an assistant director from 1956 to 1960, to directors like Hussein Sedqy, Ibrahim Emara and Hossam Eldin Mostafa. He worked in the Egyptian television since its establishment, where he directed programs and films. He traveled to the United States in 1984 on a training mission in Universal Studios and several other television studios. He's known for The Brave Three, The Lover, and In Attaba.
