Lebanese dancer born in Beirut in 1892. She began her career in nightclubs, the most famous of which is Al-Quwatli Café. She moved to Egypt and settled in Cairo to learn oriental dance, after which she worked as a dancer and actress in theater and cinema, where she became the star of Naguib El-Rihani's theater company, to whom she was married for a period of time. In 1929, she created her own oriental dance which was known by her name.
She then opened a dance hall in the name of "Badia Casino" in Emad El Din Street, which brought many dance stars into the spotlight like Taheya Karioka, Beba Ezzeldin, and Samia Gamal. She appeared in several plays including Rayya and Sekina (1925). She produced the movie Queen of the Stages in 1936. Due to the accumulation of taxes on her, she left Egypt and returned to Lebanon, where she opened a dairy shop. She died in 1974.
