An Egyptian writer, film critic, and producer, who graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema. He wrote many films and series, worked as a production manager, and published many books. He also took on many positions, including the director of the National Center for Cinema and was honored in many places. His last book was named "Immigration, Slavery, and Freedom in West African Films". He is known for Humans and Jinn (1985), Anger Days (1989), A Report Against a Woman (1986), and The Deserted Beach (1975).
